Sewing

Over the past few years I have undertaken a number of clothing sewing projects, enjoying the customisability of making my own clothes. I have also made some smaller sewn items as gifts.

Embroidery

I learned the basics of embroidery back in secondary school as a form of embelishment. I have continued to use embroidery in that way, but have also started to design and embroider decorative hoops.

Crochet

I learned crochet to make an amigurumi (crocheted stuffed dolls) dragon. I have continued to make a variety of different amigurumi creatures and find the process quite calming and relaxing. Recently I have branched out into crochet clothing, and made myself a crocheted cardigan.

Baking

I enjoy baking a variety of sweets, especially cookies for Christmas. I also enjoy decorating the cookies in theme for the occasion and constructing an annual Christmas gingerbread house.
